I think I blew up my ST-35 because I was running 4 speakers in parallel, so they were pulling too much current and overloaded the power transformer, and possibly the filter caps, too. If I want 4 speakers I should wire them in series and use the 16ohm taps. For some reason it took me a long time to get a straight answer on this. This is useful:
